New! Limited Edition 7” Coloured Vinyl

As you may already know, our new single, ‘You Have Wasted Your Life, Now Please Stop Wasting Your Money’, was released for download at the end of June 2010. Well, we are downright dizzy with delight to announce that we have just had a very limited amount of singles pressed on 7″ ‘dollar-green’ coloured vinyl.

NEXT STOP: Larmer Tree Festival

The next stop on our summer expedition is the wonderful Larmer Tree Festival, in Wiltshire. And over the course of the weekend we are delighted to be playing two full length shows. The first show is at 7.15pm on Friday 16th July on The Garden Stage and the second show is on Saturday at 7.45pm on The Big Top Stage.

TPBR’s Glastonbury 2010 Review

It has been just over a week since returning from our very first Glastonbury festival, we ended up playing four shows over the course of our stay there; The Lizard Stage, The Bourbon Street stage, the Tadpole Stageand the Strummerville Stage at 2am. Also rather exciting, we’ve heard through the proverbial grapevine that our new single ‘You Have Wasted Your Life, Now Please Stop Wasting Your Money’ was getting airplay on BBC Radio 6’s coverage of Glastonbury. Both Shaun Keaveny and Mark Radcliffe have been heard saying some extremely nice things about us.

Next stop: Glastonbury Festival

We got our festival season off to a rollicking start last Saturday at The Big Session in Leicester. We had an absolute blast and would very much like to say an enormous thank you and give a collective group hug to everyone involved (organisers, crew, other acts, bar staff and, of course, the audience). We are still giddy with glee to have met so many delightfully lovely new chums.

Friday 11th June @ 12 Bar, London

On Friday 11th June we shall be playing a special show in our favourite London venue, The 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street. We shall be onstage around 11pm and entry is £6/5.

The night is presented by our very dear chums, London Calling, who shall be celebrating their 9th Birthday.

The bill also includes The New Forbidden, whose guitar player is none other than saucy TV/Punk legend, Lloyd Grossman.

Big Session Festival – our 1st of 2010!

We are pleased to announce that this will be our first for 2010. After winning A Greener Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007 the Big Session Festival returns to De Montfort Hall, Leicester and surrounding four acre gardens for another celebration of music & arts.

Supporting The Ukrainians at 100 Club

Newsflash: We will be supporting The Ukrainians for the second time (after a memorable show in October 2009) at the legendary 100 Club in London on Thursday 27th May. Also on the bill are Klezma Villanova who are a sometimes four, sometimes five, sometimes eight, sometimes nine piece from Twickenham, West London.
