A very quick message to let you know that The Penny Black Remedy shall be playing a special acoustic show in the wonderful Bar Solo, Inverness Street, Camden on Sat 17th April. We shall be onstage around 9pm and entry is completely free, which really is cheap at half the price …

You are all invited to our next live show which will be at the legendary Ginglik venue in Shepherds Bush. This Sunday will be the official launch party for the new super GYPSY MONDO …

We are delighted to invite you to come join us next Wednesday 7th April for a special show at one of London’s most exciting new music venues, The Lexington in Angel, NW1.

We shall be onstage around 10pm and tickets are £5 with a flyer and £6 on the door. Joining us on the night are the fantastically entertaining garage-blues-rock’n'rollers The Dublo, who you might remember from shows we did together in the past, mostly in Stoke Newington*.

We thought you might be interested in having a cheeky peek at our Show Reel. The main concert footage was recorded at shows in The Borderline in London on Nov 27th 2009, The Charlotte Street Blues Bar in London on Dec 12th 2009 and The Melkweg in Amsterdam on Sept 5th 2009, so if you attended any of those shows, there’s a reasonably high chance that you might be able to spot yourself in the film*.

Last minute gig @ 12Bar in London :) We are supporting China Soul, David Soul’s (yes, the Hutch in Starsky and Hutch) daughter, who is launching her new single with Chaz Jankel of The Blockheads (who was up for a BAFTA yesterday for the music of the Ian Dury movie Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll) ..

All of us here at TPBR HQ would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who made it down to any of our recent Valentine’s Day/Weekend Shows.  It was wonderful to see so many of our dear old chums and was great to meet such a positively pulchritudinous plethora of new chums.  We very much look forward with bated breath and subsequent heavy gasping to the next time.
