On Friday 11th June we shall be playing a special show in our favourite London venue, The 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street. We shall be onstage around 11pm and entry is £6/5.

The night is presented by our very dear chums, London Calling, who shall be celebrating their 9th Birthday.

The bill also includes The New Forbidden, whose guitar player is none other than saucy TV/Punk legend, Lloyd Grossman.

We are pleased to announce that this will be our first for 2010. After winning A Greener Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007 the Big Session Festival returns to De Montfort Hall, Leicester and surrounding four acre gardens for another celebration of music & arts.

Newsflash: We will be supporting The Ukrainians for the second time (after a memorable show in October 2009) at the legendary 100 Club in London on Thursday 27th May. Also on the bill are Klezma Villanova who are a sometimes four, sometimes five, sometimes eight, sometimes nine piece from Twickenham, West London.

We have been booked to play this years Eden Festival and eFestivals are offering two lucky winners the chance to win a pair of tickets – the festival happens from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September at Raehills Meadows, Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland – and we’re playing on the Saturday.

As part of our current series of events to celebrate the release of our new single, ‘You Have Wasted Your Life, Now Please Stop Wasting Your Money’, we shall be playing a show in The Hootananny in Brixton on Friday 21st May. Entry is free and we shall be onstage around 10.30pm.

Tonight marks the launch of the band’s second single “You Have Wasted Your Life, Now Please Stop Wasting Your Money”. And the packed out Charlotte Street Blues Bar, tucked away behind the bustling, tourist-ridden Tottenham Court Road, knows this only too well.

On Friday 7th May in The Charlotte Street Blues Bar, we kick-started a series of events to celebrate the release of our new single, ‘You Have Wasted Your Life, Now Please Stop Wasting Your Money’.

On these events, we shall be giving away extremely Limited Edition CD copies of the single (which includes the exclusive, new recording, ‘You Look Funny When You Think’. Our very special guests at the Charlotte Street Blues bar were the legendary Psychedelic-Surf-Punk All-Stars, The Flying Padovanis.

Today we’re unbelievably excited to announce confirmation we are to play Glastonbury 2010. This is massive, massive news for us and we’ll be posting more details as and when we get them. But for those lucky enough to have tickets we’re playing Sunday 27th June in The Green Fields …
